Benfleet Music School
is a specialist school run by Essex Music Services for Essex County Council. It meets on Saturday mornings during school term times at the Appleton School, Croft Road, Benfleet. There are currently ten members of staff teaching forty pupils. Instruments taught include: keyboard and piano, violin, viola, flute, clarinet, oboe, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, recorder, accordion, saxophone, guitar (classical and rock), drums and percussion. The Music School also provides aural training, theory of music, ensembles and a choir. If you wish to learn for your own pleasure or need expert coaching for GCSE Muisc performance - we cater for that too. Also we prepare students for the grading exams of the Associated Board and other London music colleges. Novices and complete beginners are welcome, subject to informal interview. There is a waiting list for some instruments but we would welcome you enquiry.
